Bangles are the significance of Matrimony.


Bangles are traditional ornaments worn by Pakistani and south Asian women, especially Muslims. They are worn after marriage to signify matrimony.
Bangles are circular in shape and may be flexible. These are made of numerous precious as well as non-precious materials such as gold, silver, platinum, glass, ferrous metals and plastic etc.
Bangles are most important part of traditional Pakistani Jewelry. Women, one or more on each wrist, usually wear these in pairs.


Most Pakistani women prefer wearing glass bangles.
Inexpensive bangles made from plastic are slowly replacing those made by glass, but the ones made of glass are still preferred traditional occasion such as marriages and on Eid or other festivals.
The design range from simple to intricate hand made designs, often sudden with precious and semi precious stones such as diamonds, gems and pearls.
